New England Trip

TJ and I took a trip to New England the third week in July. We traveled from home to New York to Vermont to New Hampshire to Maine to Boston to Connecticut and everywhere in between :) We did lots of camping, hiking, driving, laughing and having fun. Here are some of the highlights :)

Deck

Just wanted to update everyone on the deck..........it's still a work in progress! Since we will be leaving on our New England trip on Saturday and since it's been 103 degress this week, the deck will not be finished until after our trip!! Right now our backyard doesn't look pretty, but it will soon!! We will keep you updated on our trip as we go :)

Deck

We are getting a Deck (big thanks to Mom and Dad Y)! It is going to be a much longer process than I expected due to the many required inspections along the way! Hopefully it will be done by August so we can have everyone over :)

First step - dig 8 holes...needless to say our soil is like clay and full of rocks so the process took two days! TJ and his dad worked really hard and were very sore! We will keep you updated on the progress!!

Camping Family

We are a camping family :) We enjoy going on weekend camping trips with Leo! Here are a few pictures from some of our camping adventures this year!

Blizzard of 2010

As an assistant principal, I anxiously watch the news and pray for a "Code Red"!! Well I got my wish this year....the students missed almost two weeks of school due to snow...many of the days I didn't/couldn't go in! At one point we had 24 inches of snow on the ground (which fell in about 24 hours). Leo had a blast and while I got a little stir crazy and bored because TJ still had to work, I enjoyed being at home :) Here are just a few pictures from the Blizzard of 2010.

TJ and I traveled to Aruba for our Honeymoon and had a blast! We got very burnt, but enjoyed drinking in the pool, driving around in the jeep, getting dressed up for dinner, taking a helicopter ride, sleeping in and taking naps and just being together!
