While admittedly, this has probably been the worst week of my life, through the pain and tears...I am still thankful for so many things.......
1) My outstanding and super supportive husband. While I hope that we never have to endure this much pain again, I cannot thank you enough for your love, support, care, understanding and laughter when need be this past week. I know that we will soon be able to smile and celebrate our little one in heaven....until then I will quote your facebook page, "
still doing flip flops and jumping jacks....just not here." I love you with all my heart.
2) My Mom....this week would have been that much harder without your love and support. While I know it is time to begin celebrating the 12 weeks we had, it was comforting to have you here to help with the grieving process. While you were there for me, it comforted me to know that you were there for TJ when I couldn't be. I love you!
3) Stephanie for the daily phone calls, messages from Erik, skype sessions and BEAUTIFUL poem (which I will someday share on this blog). I love you!
4) Mom and Dad Y for comforting my wonderful husband and helping to make the grieving process easier. We love you!
5) Ashley....I know this has brought up memories and been that much harder on you, but I seriously cannot thank you enough for your calls, emails, visits, support and advice. I can only hope that all our pain will soon be replaced with happiness and love....after all.....it's better to have a snowball fight when someone else is throwing them back....here's to our soon to be snowball fight. Luv ya!
6) To all my super supportive Springwoods and Mullen friends, neighbors, friends and family for the emails, facebook and blog posts, text messages, phone calls, letters and flowers.....we have felt truly loved and wouldn't be able to cope as well without your constant love and support.
Thank you all for helping to lift our heavy hearts. As my sister says, "after the rain...comes the rainbow" Here's to hoping our rainbow is right around the corner.
