TGIF.........what a long week!!! I am happy that all my friends and family made it through the storms safely.
I have to do my Thankful Thursday today because I got home way too late last night and had to hold my eyes open to watch Grey's Anatomy...hehehe:) At least I'm only a day off!!
As always....in no particular order :)
1) SWEET PEA....made my week.
2) For those of you that know me well...Wednesday's are my busy days filled with meetings. I must say that this Wednesday was full of successful meetings.
3) Flip flop weather...while I think it got too humid too soon....I am very excited about the warmer weather so that I can start wearing my sandals and flip flops.
4) Ashley........for stopping by multiple times a day just to make me smile. Our friendship means the world to me :) I've gotta feeling I'm gonna be ordering stickers soon!! YEAH for Heartburn :)
5) My wonderful hubby for doing things without me asking....he always finds ways to make me laugh and help out when he knows I'm exhausted or just angry about work. I love you honey!
6) Shannon for sharing all of her advice, funny stories and Logan stories....what a great way to start off my days!
7) Sarah for always having my back and making sure files/school related things are in order. Seriously wouldn't be able to do my job without you!
8) Kelly for ALWAYS being positive! I am amazed at how much crap she has to deal with and still does it with a smile. (I have to admit that I did her job for 20 minutes today and I was a little exhausted!!).
9) My mom.....what can I say....I just love her and am so grateful that she is one of my best friends :)
10) Clementines............OMG.......they are soooooooo good!!! And getting a dose of vitamin C is beneficial!
11) Our grill.........not only does it make food taste amazing....no dishes :) I promise that we will have a cook out soon to show off our new grilling skills!
12) Friday Nights!!! Traditional pizza night at the Yuditsky house followed by PJ's and TV........LOVE IT :)

Random Thoughts
Today was a GREAT day for so many reasons :)
Despite running from training to training.....it was a day filled with happiness.
I was fortunate enough to surprise some of my best friends (Nomi and Sammy) at Ellis Elementary during dismissal today. It was wonderful to catch up and just spend a few minutes with them. They are truly amazing :)
I've been trying very hard to eat well the past two weeks and have been doing a pretty good job....that is until I came home tonight. I partly blame my cute nephew, Erik, because it was the food I bought for him that I had for dinner tonight...hehehe. Needless to say, I had dinosaur chicken nuggets and ABC shaped tater tots for dinner. My dinner was AMAZING and I enjoyed every single bite :) I did have a salad and some fruit to make myself feel a little bit better.
I also made a card for my cousin's baby shower this weekend. It was my first time using little grommets (in yellow) and I think it looks pretty good :) Sorry for the bad picture quality as I was using my cell phone.

Yard Work
I apologize for the lack of blogging....but Spring Break was last week and I took some time to relax and enjoy time with family and friends :)
Now that I'm back to my routine....here is a new post.
TJ and I did some yard work on Sunday and I must say that I'm pretty proud of our work (see pictures below.) As many of you know, I am terrified of snakes....to the point where I end up freezing and hyperventilating if/when I see them. I also get very nervous if I run over one in my car....so needless to say....terrified. The last time I saw a snake was in our front yard behind the bushes. I'm telling you all of this because the four bushes against the porch where trimmed by me. While I admit that I was a little terrified (I even participated in some positive self talk) and did have TJ check for snakes a few time....I finished trimming all by myself :)

Wordless Wednesday
Sort of wordless.....so my hubby had my grandmother's ring changed to white gold and cleaned up so I could begin wearing it....it was a great big surprise (although had I thought about it and put two and two together, I should have figured it out.) What a great guy :)

Super Thankful Saturday
So as most of you know, I gave my big research presentation to the Superintendents Staff for my third year as an Assistant Principal on Friday....needless to say I didn't post much of anything this week due to stress and getting ready for that :) I do have lots to be thankful for this week so it's a few days late....but here goes :)
1) My AP Project is done and I feel confident that I did a good job and really showcased what I know and that student learning always comes first....I was even asked to submit a proposal to present my project at the EEE conference in August :)
2) My sister and Nephew are visiting from Georgia for a few days.......this is a picture of my "cozy" time with Erik....he is such a blast and makes me laugh/smile several times a day :)
3) My sister and Erik again for bringing me good vibes :)
4) Ashely, Ashley, Ashley.........I seriously wonder how we made it the first year of knowing each other without being really good friends. Again, your never ending support, guidance and positivity always keep me grounded and sane :) The beautiful card that you made me on Thursday gave me so much hope and made everything seem 100 times better. I cannot wait until we can have that big snowball fight together (thank you thank you thank!!!).
5) Springwoods Staff............have I ever mentioned that I work with AMAZING people....not only did lots of people wish me luck on my project, but two of my friends (Kelly and Ashley) barricaded my office door with a big poster full of motivational phrases. Prior to giving my presentation, I kept thinking about all the support I have received, all the text messages and I pictured myself running through the paper barricade to my office and seeing all of you on the other side and I was able the nail the presentation!! THANK YOU!!!
6) Spring Break..........Oh how I need you this next week :)
7) Hubby for always making me laugh, supporting me, saying the right thing just when I need it....I love you!
8) For being cautiously optimistic...................
9) The rain today.........while it messed up our camping plans........MY ALLERGIES are horrible and I need the pollen to go away :)

Oh Leo.......
Had to post a few pictures this morning as Leo made TJ and I laugh hysterically. Now we all know that Leo LOVES food and has a small begging problem.......but this morning he took it to a whole new level! After his run with TJ, Leo sat on the couch in between us while we ate breakfast in front of the TV. TJ put his plate on the table (which you can see from the pictures) and Leo decided to get up and try to smell/lick the plate..........but...........I guess it was too much work for him to actually get off the couch!! The first one is him begging and the second picture is him going to town licking the plate once we gave him permission. We just thought we would share as it made us chuckle :)

Thankful Thursday
As always....in no particular order:
1) I am thankful that my neighbor gave birth to a healthy baby girl today.....I have a feeling that the good baby related news has started again!!
2) I am thankful to the Kindergarten student in the cafeteria who looked at me and said, "Mrs. Yuditsy (they always leave off the k), I wish you were my Mom." I responded with, "Oh honey, you have a wonderful Mommy who loves you very much." She responded, "but you are always happy, nice, give me a special wave with your little finger and you love me." Melted my heart!!!
3) Weber for making awesome grills......this was our first night using our new grill and I didn't realize that pork was supposed to be juicy and taste good. I see some cook outs in the near future :)
4) My hubby for putting up with my mood swings, work stories, long/crazy hours and sneezing. I'm proud to say that we still "catch" ourselves staring with googly eyes at each other. Love you honey.
5) I have to put Ashley in here again because she endures daily stories about how I'm feeling and what body part is aching! Thank you for holding out hope for the both of us.....it's coming....I know it is :)
6) I am very thankful that I didn't have to call a wonderful parent and try to explain that her son was copying an obscene gesture from one of his friends (lets just say his finger was shaped like a V in front of his mouth with his tongue sticking out). Would have been an awkward phone call.
7) Wegman's chocolate cake....it just makes everything better :)

WOW
A big THANK YOU to everyone who made my birthday extra special this year :) I had my office decorated and roses waiting for me from Kelly and Joanne. I had a Thai lunch ordered for me and a chocolate cake :) Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and make me feel extra special today :) I even got special cards made from some of my kindergarten friends and a special birthday song from our star kindergarten singer.
My hubby really came through this year (as always) with a personalized stamp, new Grill, flowers delivered to work and an amazing dinner out. He even made me my own card using my stampin up supplies....I am truly blessed and thankful to have such a wonderful husband....thank you sweetie :) Even Leo gave me extra love today and tried to jump in my lap in the car when I pulled up into the garage.

Funny Friday

Apparently TJ and I don't feed Leo enough :) Every Friday night we make homemade pizza and Leo sits in front of the oven and whimpers! I know it doesn't look like it from the pictures but he does get lots of crust :)
